Privacy
Your photos never leave your phone.
Wardelle is a wardrobe planner. The cut-out of a garment happens on the phone. This page says what the waitlist stores, why, and who is responsible.
Who is responsible
The controller is OWEN MEL MAYSSON (trading as Wardelle), a sole trader registered in Spain.
[TODO] A postal address and a Spanish tax identification number (NIF) are not published here.
What we collect
The waitlist stores the email address you send, the optional source (how you heard about us), and the campaign tags already in the link: utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, and utm_content.
It also stores the time you signed up, the time you confirmed, and the time we last sent the confirmation mail, plus your opt-in state: waiting to confirm, confirmed, or unsubscribed. Unsubscribe is that state. We do not store a separate unsubscribe clock.
We store a hash of the IP address used for the signup, not the raw address, and a short user-agent string from that request (at most 200 characters). Both are there so we can limit repeated signups.
The app is separate from the waitlist. Closet photos stay on the phone. The cut-out happens on the device. There is no account, no analytics, and no tracking.
Try it on (coming feature)
Try it on is off unless you agree, and only if you are 18 or older. Your photo goes through Wardelle's server to xAI. Wardelle's server passes it on and does not store it. xAI is our processor and processes the photo in the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses, with zero data retention, and never uses it for training.
Purpose
We use the waitlist record to send a confirmation email, and one note when the app opens. We do not run a newsletter. We do not sell the list. The IP hash and the user agent are used only to limit abuse of the form.
Lawful basis
Consent, under GDPR Article 6(1)(a). You give it by joining the waitlist and confirming from the email. You can withdraw it at any time, with no effect on what was lawful before you withdrew.
Retention
We keep a confirmed address until you unsubscribe. Unsubscribing erases the signup immediately by anonymising it: the email is replaced, and the other details are cleared. An unconfirmed signup is erased the same way 12 months after signup.
Processors
Resend delivers the email. Location: United States, AWS us-east-1.
Supabase holds the waitlist database. Location: EU, AWS eu-central-1 (Frankfurt).
IONOS hosts the website and the API. Location: United States, Kansas City.
xAI draws a try-on photo, only with your consent. Location: United States. Zero data retention, and the photo is never used for training.
International transfers
Where waitlist data is processed in the United States, the safeguard is Standard Contractual Clauses.
Try-on photos are processed by xAI in the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses, with zero data retention and no training, only with consent.
[TODO] The exact transfer mechanism is not confirmed for Resend, for Supabase, or for IONOS.
Your rights
You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, or portability. You can object, and you can withdraw consent. Email [email protected]. Unsubscribe erases a signup, as described above. A person handles the other requests.
You can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency, the AEPD, at aepd.es.
Unsubscribe
Every waitlist email includes an unsubscribe link. The link opens a page with a button. That button erases the signup immediately, by anonymising it.
Contact
Write to [email protected]. That mailbox is how to reach the controller, including for the rights above.
